Mission: WTPR Softball will provide a quality fast-pitch youth softball program focusing on fundamental skills, teamwork, and individual growth for ages 5-18 in Washington Township

Vision: WTPR Softball will operate a nonprofit, 100% volunteer organization that instills sportsmanship, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game.  As a recreation and travel league, learning fundamentals and developing skills will be one of the top priorities.  Players will also learn life lessons such as discipline, hard work, and perseverance in a supervised environment that lay the building blocks for further life development.

League Goals

• Encourage hard work, a positive attitude, and good sportsmanship through participation in a team environment.
• Teach the fundamentals of the game.
• Develop each player’s skills and knowledge of the game.
• Have fun, make new friends, and grow as a member of a team.
• Encourage continued participation by building a passion for the sport of fastpitch softball.
• Provide a fall season that emphasizes skills development that especially helps players transition to a new division.
• Provide a spring season that emphasizes skills development in a competitive environment.
